Insurance brokers are woven into the very social and economic fabric of Saskatchewan. They are the heartbeat of our communities, large and small: champions for civic engagement, generous supporters of local causes, and compassionate business leaders, who go the extra mile to provide their neighbours with an unparalleled level of service and support. As an industry, it is imperative we celebrate these positive impacts.

That is why the Insurance Brokers Association of Saskatchewan (IBAS) has partnered with Wawanesa Insurance to present the sixth annual #BrokersCare Community Leadership Award.

This prestigious award, to be presented at the 2024 IBAS Leaders Summit on October 17 in Regina, will recognize the outstanding contributions of one deserving brokerage or individual broker, who has went above and beyond to make a difference in their community. These contributions may be made through volunteerism, participation in or leadership of local initiatives, philanthropy, or other means of involvement.

Nominations close at 5 p.m. on Friday, August 2, 2024. Self-nominations are accepted, and multiple nominations are also encouraged. The selected honouree will receive a $7,200 cash donation (to mark IBAS's 72nd anniversary) to the charity, not-for-profit, or community initiative of their choice.
