Objectives:
Determine appropriate patient selection. Determine what capital is necessary to create a secondary fracture prevention program for your practice. Determine when orthopaedic oncologists should refer out metastatic disease. Determine which cases for which volar plates are appropriate. Evaluate the benefits of developing a secondary fracture prevention program to determine whether it is appropriate for your practice. Evaluate the variation of vitamin D levels in the outpatient orthopaedic population. Explore the issues that need to be considered in developing performance standards for anti-biofilm therapeutics. I am talking about femoral neck fixation, clavicle fixation and fenestrated implants Identify complications of arthroscopic all inside ACL reconstructions. Identify post-operative complications. Identify potential changes to the ABOS's maintenance of certification program. Identify reconstruction complications of biologics in orthopaedics. Identify risk factors for low vitamin D levels. Identify technical mistakes in the surgery. Identify complications related to adolescent patellofemoral surgery. Identify complications of arthroscopic superior capsular reconstruction. Investigate gaps in evidence for standardized methodological approaches of biofilm models Review a mass shooting case and determine how to minimize triage. Review a multiple ligament knee injury case and determine the best treatment responses. Review fixation failures trauma case studies to determine better treatment options. Review new and emerging technologies and hip and knee arthroplasty. Diagnosis, treatment, and complication management. Review non-malunion trauma case studies to determine better treatment options. Review postoperative infection trauma case studies to determine better treatment options. Review what one surgeon learned from operating on other surgeons and evaluate how he applied that to other surgeries. Target Audience: The target audience will be orthopaedic surgeons, residents, fellows, and physicians with an interest in orthopaedic treatment. Athletic trainers, coaches, and orthopaedic clinic administrators/technical staff may also be interested in the program.
