The PEI Partnership for Growth is comprised of twenty-one business organizations and industry associations, who have come together with a shared vision for our economic future. The Partnership envisions Prince Edward Island as a leader in entrepreneurship and sustainable economic growth—attracting technology, capital, human resources in an economy designed to help businesses—and all Islanders—succeed.

After extensive province-wide consultations with businesses, industry associations, community groups, and government, the PEI Partnership for Growth has drafted a private-sector led, actionable, and sustainable Economic Action Plan for the Island. The proposed direction is focused on long-term, sustainable economic growth, recognizing that with the global pandemic, many sectors have been negatively impacted and will require time and support for recovery.

The proposed plan includes 5 priorities:
  • Create an outstanding environment where businesses and communities can thrive;
  • Develop a growing, diverse, and skilled workforce necessary for PEI's economic future;
  • Stimulate innovation and sector by sector growth in a changing global environment;
  • Drive entrepreneurship to power PEI’s economic success; and
  • Build PEI's reputation as innovative and clean.
Your feedback is important. The proposed plan for the PEI Economic Action Plan 2021-2026 can be found on the PEI Partnership for Growth website (www.peipartnershipforgrowth.ca). The Partnership invites you to review the proposed plan and provide feedback through this short survey. Your feedback will be used to help develop the final plan.

Thank you!
