Our Community Fair for the 2019 Festival is scheduled for:Monday, February 4thFlag Raising (12pm) & Community Fair, 11 - 3pmUoG UC CourtyardSet up for the community fair will begin at 10am and tear down will be complete by 4pm. There are a wide array of options for refreshments, food, and coffee throughout the day through the UC's restaurants and other campus spots. You must be available this day in order to join the community fair (obviously!)Guelph Pride Mission:Guelph Pride celebrates diversity in safer spaces by providing education, programming and visibility with the LGBTQ2S+ community and beyond. We will do this work by continuously advocating for accessibility and inclusivity. Just to clarify I understand that, as a community fair vendor, I am responsible (but not liable) for the safety and experience of both volunteers and participants of the event as they directly relate to my table/presence at the fair, as such I will be accountable to any concerns brought to me or other members of Guelph Pride and work to resolve concerns around safety and accessibility of my table and it's contents. I understand that Guelph Pride will do it's best to accommodate me, my needs, and the success of my table at the community fair, to the degree that my needs are communicated to the committee and it is within their capacity and is reasonable to support me. I will do my best to communicate any needs as they arise which I may require support from the committee to navigate. I understand that, if for any reason myself and the other individuals from my organization are unable to attend or be present during the community fair, Guelph Pride will not be able to run or staff the table in my absence, and that I will notify Guelph Pride of the cancellation of our participation and update any social media event listings accordingly. Refunds will not be issued for cancellations within 48 hours of the community fair. Yes, I agree that all staff and/or volunteers from my organization/business will act in adherence to anti-oppressive frameworks and work diligently to cultivate welcoming and accepting atmospheres for all community members. This includes adhering to the Guelph Pride anti-discrimination policy, which covers any and all harassment on the grounds of age, race, ethnicity, creed, religion, dis/ability, class, sexual orientation and gender identity.
