Return to school plan survey

Dear Parents,
As promised, we would like to gather your input regarding the reopening of schools here in Sheffield-Sheffield Lake.

We know there are tough choices to be made.  We sincerely want to give students every opportunity to be in school and do it safely. We know that learning in person is the best model for delivery and communication for the majority of students.  We also know that some people will wish to have their children learn online.

As a district we want to offer an intermediate choice between being in school every day and not coming to school at all during a semester/year.  Even if social distancing forces us to divide our student population in half, students are able to attend school two days per week. Having that person to person contact is good for social emotional health and also for feedback regarding instruction.

We will be sanitizing thoroughly each night and also on every Wednesday. We will have one way hall traffic and many many floor markings for distancing and washing hands.  Also, hand sanitizers will be in every room, hallway, RR, and entry way.

Please help us make our plan as good as possible during this time by answering the questions below.
Partners in Education,

Michael Cook, M.E.d
