50 By 30 Recycle Floyd County Initiative
Recycle Floyd County is partnering with IU Southeast, Idealogy Marketing + Design, and the Indiana Department of Environmental Management to increase recycling in Floyd County and decrease the amount of trash going into landfills.
Central to this initiative is an effort to make recycling more convenient by targeting major neighborhoods and establishing specific days and hours when residents may drop off their recycling within or near each neighborhood.
The plan is to run this test for about a year, measuring both the increase in participation and the volume of materials being recycled. This survey, developed in conjunction with the Cobblers Crossing HOA, is designed to get your input into planning this test.
