Thank you for your interest in nominating a representative to the CanWaCH Pubic Engagement Working Group (PEWG).
 
Nominations will be accepted until 4 pm EST on Friday, March 31st. Self-nominations are accepted but must be accompanied by a letter of support from within your organization (maximum 300 words) sent to ccrockett@CanWaCH.ca.
 
The PEWG will consist of up to 12 members representing the diversity of CanWaCH partners by organization size, region within Canada, programming focus and location. Candidates will be advised of the membership selections no later than April 12, 2017 with the first meeting of the PEWG to take place the week of April 24, 2017. 
 
To be nominated a candidate should be:
  • An employee or consultant for a CanWaCH partner organization.
  • Ideally, the lead for public engagement strategy and/or activities for their organization. Alternately, the candidate will have previous experience/expertise in public engagement initiatives/campaigns.
  • Available for meetings a minimum of 1 hour once per month via teleconference. Meetings of a greater duration may be scheduled on occasion as required. In-person meetings will be scheduled occasionally when feasible.
  • Able to commit approximately 3 hours for meeting preparatory time and/or meeting follow-up (e.g. sharing PEWG updates, executing on actions identified by the group, representing PEWG at occasional events, etc.).
