Piezoelectric Energy Harvesting (PEH) Product Survey

As part of the Idea Incubator Challenge 2015 I would like to build a prototype of a PEH module that harvests energy from a chest crunch machine in a gym which can be used as a power bank to charge one's mobile phone/other small electronic devices.
(PEH is a sustainable technology that converts mechanical energy to electrical energy)
