Thank you for considering to sign up for New Mexico Grown Week! During the weeks of September 28, 2020 - October 9, 2020, schools and school districts across the state will be holding special events and activities to promote their farm to school programs.
 
"Farm to school" is defined as any combination of 1) local purchasing for school meals, 2) school garden education and 3) educational programming in schools that educates students about local food, nutrition, and agriculture.
 
Participants that email a picture of the activities or events they hold during New Mexico Grown Week will receive the following:

  • Statewide recognition through targeted press across New Mexico, and;
  • First access to new program materials, including posters, clings, and magnets.
Allowable documentation includes: photos, menus with local items notated, recipes, videos, and press. All documentation must be sent to Kendal.chavez@state.nm.us by October 16, 2020.
