Texas AFT Convention 2017 Workshop Proposal

Thanks for submitting a proposal to make our Professional Issues Day a success!

The deadline for submissions is March 24, 2017. The presenters will be notified in early April. The Texas AFT convention PD day will take place on June 17, 2017 at the El Paso Convention Center.

If selected, the presenter will receive a $300 flat stipend for one workshop. If the workshop is repeated at the convention, $50 will be added to the stipend. This covers everything: prep time, the presentation, and materials needed. If you will be traveling from outside the El Paso area, an additional $300 will be provided to help pay for travel cost (hotel, air, mileage, etc) Texas AFT will provide a computer with Microsoft Office, an LCD projector, and flip charts as needed. Please note that we are unable to provide Internet access in the meeting rooms. Presenters should plan on a 90 minute presentation.
