Lyme Regis Town Council is applying to Dorset Council to introduce a 20mph zone in Lyme Regis and a 20mph speed limit in Timber Hill. The council needs to demonstrate community support for the scheme and is inviting residents, businesses and visitors to complete our survey. All views are welcome.
The town council is proposing the scheme following requests from residents for improved road safety in several areas of the town.
The map below shows the proposed 20mph zone.
Lyme Regis Town Council and Uplyme Parish Council are working in partnership to improve road safety in the local area; Uplyme is in full support of the town council’s application and Lyme Regis Town Council has given its full backing for a 20mph limit through Uplyme village.
