In recent years, we have recognized an exponential increase in the volume of orthoapedic literature, making it time-intensive to access complete information. Further, many papers have design and methodology limitations, affecting the potential for meaningful findings and conclusions.

Therefore, the purpose of this survey is to provide an assessment of the current state of orthopaedic literature so as to better guide suggestions for future improvement.
