This survey is intended to capture licensed professionals' opinions about the prospect for a new credentialing program.
The proposed Pulmonary Disease Educator credential would recognize successful candidates from a variety of professional backgrounds with a designation to be used after their names along with degrees, licenses, and other credentials to signify competence in the specialty area. 

Credential achievement would be based on a standardized examination that tests the knowledge and skills of individuals who educate those with pulmonary symptoms or disease, their families, or caregivers.
