Section 1506 of the Public School Code requires all public school entities with an accepted Flexible Instructional Day (FID) application to complete this annual FID Survey, regardless of whether or not you used an FID during the current school year. For the 2025-26 school year, PDE is continuing to ask questions pertaining to the use of FIDs in a single building as well as LEA wide to see the impact of this change in policy. PDE is requesting your valuable insights and your candid self-assessment of your FID program by June 30, 2026.

Some entities used remote or virtual learning days in addition to FIDs. These days may have not followed all of the requirements for FIDs so please do not consider nor count these days for the purposes of this survey.
