Patient and Caregivers
What are the criteria needed to apply?
• Individuals must be either a patient or caregiver living with rare disease.
• Individuals should have a financial need to attend.
• Families need to apply as individual members
Applications are accepted on a rolling basis through June 11, 2021.
• Recipients are patients and caregivers who need financial assistance to attend.
• Each scholarship recipient will receive an award letter via email specifying his or her award details. The email will include instructions for accepting your award.
• Registration: Once an award is accepted, you will be given instructions on how to register to attend the Living Rare Forum
Students
All high school, undergraduate and graduate students with an interest in rare diseases are eligible to apply. Priority consideration will be given to members of a Students for Rare Club or Chapter and first- time attendees of a NORD event.
• The priority deadline for Students for Rare members to submit an application is Thursday, April 15, 2021 at 11:59pm ET/8:59pm PT.
• After this deadline, all applications will be considered on a rolling basis. 
•  Once an award is accepted, you will be given instructions on how to register to attend the Living Rare Forum.
