The Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention Committee (JJDPC), established within the Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency (PCCD), is the official juvenile justice planning, coordinating, and policy-setting body for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. The committee is charged with developing a comprehensive, long-range plan and related policies for the Commonwealth's juvenile justice system. Additionally, the group sets priorities for juvenile justice projects supported by PCCD’s various funding streams.   Through the work of the JJDPC, PCCD plays a crucial role in advising the Governor on juvenile justice matters, including funding and policy recommendations.

The below survey is designed to gather valuable insights from professionals in the field, with the purpose of advancing diversion initiatives in Pennsylvania to prevent youth involvement in the juvenile justice system.  The primary focus of this survey is to gather relevant information related to current resources and gaps in local diversion practices.

The information collected through this survey may be used to make funding and policy recommendations to the JJDPC and possibly other interested key stakeholders.
