2024 Community Foundations Endowment Building Cohort

Please complete the interest survey below for a 10-month Community Foundation Endowment Building Cohort for Philanthropy Southeast members. The cohort will be led by Ralph Serpe, President and CEO of the Adams County Community Foundation.

The Cohort will be an interactive peer group for a maximum of 14 and minimum of 7 participants per group. Pricing will depend on participation numbers. The cost will range from $107 to $215 per person.

Building Unrestricted 101
Building Unrestricted 101 is focused on those new to raising unrestricted endowment at community foundations. Open to any staff from any department. Each month the peer group responds to a series of pre-assigned homework assignments designed to: support participants personal professional development and comfort asking for unrestricted endowment, institutionalize unrestricted endowment building at their community foundation, and position their community foundations as unrestricted endowment builders in their community.

Building Unrestricted 201
Building Unrestricted 201 is focused on mid to senior level philanthropic advisors and front-line development staff. The goal is to help participants raise unrestricted assets through the standard fundraising process of qualifying, cultivating, asking, and thanking donors, prospects, and professional advisors. This session is designed to:  develop and expand core philanthropic advisory skills, identify strategies to incorporate program, communication, and finance staff in unrestricted asset building, and help participants create and lead their community foundation’s campaign to raise unrestricted assets.
