2015 Annual Conference Presentation Proposal -- Due May 22

1. Information About Your Presentation

Our 2015 Annual Conference theme is "Great Beginnings: When Learning Starts Early, Inspires and Applies." We're looking for early learning and rural education presentations that will:

◾enhance the knowledge, skills and abilities of those working in rural education
◾impart new information
◾share promising strategies, tools and best practices
◾increase cultural competency
◾demonstrate innovative ideas and solutions and what's possible
◾challenge the experienced educational professional

Proposals are due Friday, May 22 by 5 pm. Proposals will be reviewed by the Conference Committee and presenters will be notified in late June.

Interactive Session -- Modern and/or multiple methods, including large and small group discussions, individual and group exercises and presentation.

"TED" Style Talk with Discussion -- Nontraditional method such as TED Talk, Pecha Kucha, Ignite, or other method.

Group Discussion -- Facilitated discussions to give attendees a chance to dialogue about their viewpoints.

Formal Presentation -- “Lecture-style” presentations featuring one or two knowledgeable presenters. Formal presentations should include ample time for audience questions, discussion and interaction.
