This hands-on session introduces the Blondel community detection algorithm and the circular hierarchy network visualization together with the multifunctional algorithm package OSLOM (www.oslom.org) that handles edge directions, edge weights, overlapping communities and hierarchies.

Format:
Lecture and “hands-on” training. Please bring your laptop and pre-install the tool (free download at http://sci2.cns.iu.edu and http://www.oslom.org/ ).
