These workshops will take place on consecutive Thursday evenings in Concord and will cover:
- Understanding how local and state government works
- Identifying your local and state representatives and how to contact them
- Naming the issues you care about
- Public comment 101: how to speak up and be heard
- Introduction to power mapping and organizing for impact
A virtual orientation will be held the week before the first session, giving participants a chance to meet the facilitators and learn what to expect from the series.
This brief survey will help us design a bootcamp series that works best for our community and assist us in selecting participants for the limited number of available spots.
Note: Space for this bootcamp series is limited, and we may not be able to accommodate everyone who is interested.
