2027 Board of Director Nominations

Colorado WaterWise’s Mission: address the state’s water challenges by improving water efficiency through diverse community connections, innovative solutions and valuable member resources.

Colorado WaterWise (CWW) provides resources to the Colorado water conservation community. We connect stakeholders who are invested in water efficiency in the State of Colorado to foster integration and innovation of education and technology. We act as a forum to share ideas on successful programs; provide technical analysis tools; give access to regional water efficiency experts; and provide professional networking and educational opportunities.

CWW holds elections for new members of its board of directors each year. The board convenes monthly and communication continues throughout the month by meetings and emails, as needed. Virtual capabilities exist for those board members who cannot attend a meeting in person. Board meeting locations change each month and an effort is made to accommodate members from locations across Colorado.

If you are interested in joining the CWW Board of Directors, please complete the form below. Attendance at the November board meeting is strongly encouraged on November 12, 2026, 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Board Member Commitments:
  • Serve a three-year term.
  • Actively participate in at least one CWW committee throughout their term.
  • Take on increasing leadership responsibility during their term. Board members are encouraged to use their first year to become familiar with CWW’s work and Board operations and, particularly, during their second and third years, to consider serving as a committee chair and/or Board officer if there are vacant positions. Officer roles include Co-Chair, Co-Treasurer, and Co-Secretary.
  • Attend at least nine (9) board meetings, either virtually or in person, per year. Monthly board meetings are held on the second Thursday of each month from 10 a.m. to noon.
  • Maintain a Colorado WaterWise membership for the duration of your term.
  • Review and follow the expectations outlined in the Colorado WaterWise Organizational Handbook.
The deadline to submit a nomination is November 12, 2026. The Colorado WaterWise Board of Directors will review and vote on nominations at the December 10, 2026 board meeting. Board terms begin in January 2027.
