Tractor Supply Company Internship + Scholarship

Scholarship Overview

PURPOSE:
To support more women entering the technology industry, this scholarship provides an internship at Tractor Supply Company, located in Brentwood, TN and a $5,000 scholarship for fall semester for an undergraduate or graduate student at a Middle Tennessee university. Scholarship recipients will also receive a 1-year membership to WiTT. Applications are due by 5/31.

REQUIREMENTS:

Be a female pursuing a degree in computer science, information systems, or related field as a full-time undergraduate or graduate student at an institution of higher learning located in Middle Tennessee
Be a resident of the State of Tennessee
Have completed 60 credit hours
Preference will be given to a student with an overall minimum 3.0 grade point average on a 4.0 scale
Must be eligible to participate in TSC’s summer internship program and available to participate

APPLICATION MATERIALS:
Applicants will need to submit the following materials by the deadline in order to be considered:

Completed application
Resume showcasing academic achievements, community involvement, internships or work experience, etc.
Letter of Recommendation from a teacher or person from the student’s community who is not a relative
Transcript showing GPA on 4.0 scale; if another grading scale is utilized, applicants should work with their respective guidance counselor or academic advisor to calculate the GPA on a 4.0 scale
