Thank you for your interest in joining Your Emory Experience: a Spring 2021 Focus Group Series!

The Emory Undergraduate Project (or EmoryUP) helps bring to life new tools and programs that impact undergraduate students. We’ve previously worked on projects such as: Degree Tracker, University Course Atlas, EvaluationKIT online course evaluations, and Preferred Name.

This Focus Group Series will meet virtually on 4 occasions between Feb 10, 2021 and Apr 28, 2021. During each session, we will ask you to share feedback and input on the following parts of your Emory experience so far:
  • Wed, Feb 10; 5-6:30 p.m.
    Topic: The “Welcome to Emory!” Experience
     During this discussion, we’ll ask about your first impressions of Emory, including pre-arrival programs and communications and Orientation.
  • Wed, Mar 10; 5-6:30 p.m.
    Topic: The Emory First Year Experience
    In our second meeting, we would like to hear about your academic and advising experiences during your first year.
  • Wed, Apr 14; 5-6:30 p.m.
    Topic: Emory Beyond the First Year (Part I)
     How well did your first year at Emory prepare you for your full four-year experience? What expectations did (or, if you're in your first year, do) you have for Emory beyond the first year? Did reality live up to your expectations? Tell us about all this and more during our third session.
  • Wed, Apr 28; 5-6:30 p.m.
    Topic: Emory Beyond the First Year (Part II)
    We will continue our conversation from our previous meeting, exploring more about your expectations and experiences at Emory after your first year.
