The B.C. Cetacean Sightings Network (www.wildwhales.org) is collaborating with The Whale Trail (www.thewhaletrail.org), a Seattle based organization dedicated to identifying sites across the Northwest where the public is most likely to view killer whales, and other marine mammals, from shore. The Whale Trail focuses on marine stewardship and conservation by identifying accessible areas where land-based marine mammal sightings are most likely to occur. Through this collaboration of the Sightings Network, The Whale Trail, and many local partners, we are working to expand The Whale Trail across the coast of British Columbia. Your help in identifying areas is greatly appreciated. Please know, if you leave personal information it will only be used for contacting purposes specifically pertaining to this survey.
