Parking Improvements

Add a small parking lot near Effey and Sumner Streets.

Remove Portable Classroom Buildings

Remove portable classrooms and replace with new permanent 2-story classroom building.

Provide Student Drop-off Lane

Provide an off-street student drop-off/pick-up lane for safer student access.

Technology Infrastructure Upgrades

New cable and wireless access points across entire campus. New technology within classrooms.

Expand Play Fields

Expand the play field areas if portable classrooms are removed.

Shade Canopies

Install lunch shade canopy at front of campus & replace shade canopy near play courts.

Air Conditioning

Install a campus-wide air conditioning system.

Computer Lab

Construct a new state-of-the-art computer lab.

Landscaping and Irrigation

Replace existing landscaping and irrigation throughout campus with drought tolerant plants and water efficient irrigation.

New Interior Finishes/Lighting/Cabinetry

Install new finishes and lighting in all spaces of the existing permanent buildings (Carpet, paint, tack board, cabinetry, etc.)

Renovate Kitchen

Provide total renovation of kitchen area (New equipment, fixtures, finishes, lighting, etc.)

Incorporate Shade Canopy into New Building

If a new building is added, incorporate shade canopy into structure in lieu of a separate shade canopy

Relocate Kitchen

Consider relocating kitchen to rear of campus for ease of deliveries access and serving students

Provide Outdoor Classroom

Consider adding outdoor classroom with cover near life lab/garden

Repurpose Outdoor Front Lunch Area

If front lunch area is relocated, consider converting space into outdoor classroom

Provide Visual Privacy at Playground.

Consider increasing visual privacy at playgrounds through the placement of new buildings, landscaping (hedges) and/or privacy slats in fences.

Provide Running Track

Add running track around playfield/campus

To assist the District in their goal of providing year-round, low maintenance and water efficient playing fields, would you be in support of replacing the natural turf playing fields with a modern synthetic turf play surface that utilizes newer organic/natural technology construction methods (avoiding the use of recycled crumb rubber base)?
