Country Universities Centre - Burdekin - Community Survey

Introduction:
Burdekin Shire Council is currently supporting the Country Universities Centre (CUC) Burdekin Management Committee in the establishment of a CUC in the Burdekin.

A CUC is a regional learning hub that provides students with support while studying tertiary or vocational education remotely, without the need to leave town to study. The centre will offer modern study facilities, reliable internet, quiet study spaces and academic support services, while maintaining direct links with universities and vocational providers.

By allowing students to study locally, the CUC will help enhance regional skills, support workforce development, and contribute to the long-term growth of the Burdekin.

The Management Committee is seeking feedback from the community to understand local needs and support for the centre. The survey should take less than 5 minutes.
