*  Not for profit organisations based in the South West or those that have a proven track record of service delivery in the South West WA (that have adequate insurance cover)

* Our charter requires that funds  raised are for charitable purposes -

# projects that positively impact on the lives of a number of people living in the South West

# fulfill a real community need

# has the potential to make life-changing differences to the beneficiaries

# creates long term social, economic, health or safety benefits for South West communities

IF YOUR PROJECT DOES NOT MEET AT LEAST ONE OF THESE OBJECTIVES, YOUR APPLICATION WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.

* 5. WHAT WILL BE CONSIDERED

* your project has clear objectives and achievable outcomes

* has a realistic budget and is cost effective

* is focused on service delivery costs (excluding  the Organisation's administrative costs)

* is a new project yet to start or the extension of a current project that fits all other criteria

* preference will be given to projects that can demonstrate a high level of self-help and member involvement 

* where IN KIND forms part of the project budget it should be valued at $35/hour and cannot be more than 25% of your own contribution

* 6. TIMING OF YOUR PROJECT

* Projects that can be completed within 12 months of receiving CLTCL funding unless extenuating circumstances apply 

* Projects must not commence until payment is received, as allocation of funding is provisional, dependent on the amount of funds raised at the 2022 luncheon

* 7. WHAT WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED

*   You have not yet submitted an Evaluation and acquittal for previous funds

*  Your organisation's daily operating costs

*  Conference expenses or registration fees

* Existing debts or budget shortfalls

*  Commercial or advertising requests

*  Requests for recurrent or 'rolling' funding

*   Projects that contribute to the financial gain or an individual or business

*  A political party or government entity

*  Activities that are hazardous or dangerous

*  Contributing to planning documents such as feasibility studies, business plans, marketing and adverting plans, cost benefit analysis and economic impact studies

* Any costs not associated with the project described in the application

Notwithstanding these conditions, the Chefs Long Table Charity Lunch Committee retains absolute discretion over decisions about selection of community beneficiaries.

* 8. WORKING WITH CLTCL COMMITTEE VOLUNTEERS

A large number of volunteers is needed to ensure the luncheon is a highly successful and enjoyable  event. 

* Successful MAJOR applicants are expected to work in partnership with CLTCL to help achieve fundraising goals and must assist prior to the luncheon and provide an agreed number of volunteers to help at the luncheon on the Sunday 

* Volunteer assistance from MINOR applicants would be greatly appreciated, but not mandatory

Please be aware that each year CLTCL receives a large number of requests and not all can be met
