The City of Marietta has been awarded a special allocation of Community Development Block Grant funds ($317,434) to be used to prevent, prepare for, and respond to the Coronavirus (COVID-19). To get a better understanding of community needs, we have developed the following survey. If you are planning on applying for CDBG-CV funds once available, please complete the survey.

Please note: All CDBG administrative requirements still apply. Client files must be kept on all clients served, which includes income documentation. 70% of clients served must be categorized as low-to-moderate income, and all must be City of Marietta residents. In addition, you must be able to document how your need for funding is related to COVID-19. At this time, funding cannot be used to offset lost revenue.

Funds will not be immediately available. We do not anticipate funds to be available until June, and we are still waiting on final confirmation from HUD. As with all CDBG grants, these funds are paid on a reimbursable basis, meaning that the organization must cover costs upfront and request reimbursement on a monthly basis.
