OHE BOARD NOMINATIONS for 2026

** This survey is dedicated to obtaining your nominations for the 2026 OHE Board. Each office will be listed separately. Term will be January 2026 through January 2027.

If you are nominating someone other than yourself, each person nominated will be contacted and given the opportunity to accept or decline the nomination.

If you are nominating another, it is best if you, as the nominator, contact the person to alert them of the nomination and get a sense of their willingness to accept prior to submitting their name. We will also need their email so we can reach out to them.

* 1. I am interested in the following board position for the 2026 term

President Elect - The President-Elect shall assume duties of the president in any absence, shall be historian of OHE and shall be chair of the Committee on Nominations. This is for 1 year and then you are President the following year and past President for the following year. Must be committed for at least 3 years.

Vice-President, Membership - The VP Membership shall maintain a current roster of membership. The VP Membership shall recommend strategies to the Board of Directors for increasing the membership. The VP Membership shall be responsible for updating member management on the organization’s website.

Vice-President, Programs - In collaboration with the Board and membership, the VP Programs shall expedite and manage all programs, including the identification of program topics, speakers, locations, and formats; develop needs analysis; prepare program flyers, mailing and distribution; conduct program registration; and provide continuing education certificates, honorariums and any other requirements as needed for the provision of programs. The VP Programs shall maintain all continuing education records, including Board of Registered Nursing provider number documentation and recording requirements.

Vice President, Social Media and Content - The VP of Social Media and Content shall be responsible for Organizational information dissemination through social media to include content creation, audience engagement, analytics, communication, and utilization of social network strategies.

Secretary - The Secretary shall take minutes of all proceedings of the Board of Directors and regular meetings of OHE. The Secretary shall make available a copy of all meeting minutes to any member of the Organization as requested.

Treasurer - The Treasurer shall receive and deposit all funds of OHE in a bank designated by the OHE's Board of Directors. At the direction of the Board, the Treasurer shall invest specifically designated funds of OHE. The Treasurer shall give a financial report at regular meetings of the Board of Directors and the membership and provide a written report to be included in the annual summary. The Treasurer shall coordinate the budget process. The Treasurer or designee shall sign all checks and drafts drawn upon the bank account of OHE. The Treasurer shall provide information to an authorized accountant for the purpose of filing state and federal tax returns.

* 2. Would you be interested in a member at large position on the OHE Board. This is not a voting position, you are appointed by the President. You would attend all meetings, assist with programs, social media, and other board functions that are needed throughout the year.
