This application is for the 2022 AIDPH Summer Internship Program. AIDPH aims to support the career development, educational experience, and network creation for oral health professionals.
This year's 10-week experience is focused on Advocacy and Research for Special Populations. During the program, you will engage in research development and advocacy opportunities, matching areas of your personal interest to opportunities within AIDPH's programming. Key areas of focus will include veterans, LGBTQIA+ people, and rural communities. During the 2021 cohort, fellows were able to present original research via webinars and the National Oral Health Conference. A $1,000 stipend is available for selected candidates.
It is expected that participants will spend approximately 7 hours a week working on this experience including weekly virtual meetings. Fellows will be selected on a competitive basis. Please make sure you are available for this commitment prior to applying.
