“Early identification and Acceptance of Hospice in the South Florida community"

OpusCare of South Florida was awarded a research support grant from the Florida Hospice and Palliative Care Association. The purpose of this grant is to understand the key factors that influence end-of-life decisions in the Hispanic community including beliefs and cultural tendencies and referral patterns by healthcare professionals. The survey below includes questions that were created by OpusCare to generate data that will help us understand the perception the Hispanic community has on Hospice and Palliative Care, to better serve our community. Our goal is to provide educational tools to support the decision making for patients and families facing the end-of-life process.
