OPTIONAL SCHOOLS APPLICATION PROCESS

The Optional Schools application process will be a fully online process for the 2018-19 school year. This summer, Shelby County Schools upgraded its student information system to PowerSchool, which now requires all school application/registration processes to be conducted online.
Our goal is to create an online application process that helps improve access and opportunities for all students. Thousands of families choose to apply for our Optional schools every year, so it's important that any decisions we make about the new process are based on feedback from those we serve.
