Welcome to Lab of Labs Survey

We invite you to participate in a brand new initiative on Open Innovation Labs.

In this context Open Innovation Labs mean virtual or physical entities that collaborate with the actors of an innovation ecosystem (e.g. businesses, universities, intermediaries, government and society) to solve challenges that cannot be dealt with in-house (e.g. joint-research labs, corporate open innovation labs, living labs, social innovation labs, accelerators, incubators and platforms etc.).

The objective of the project is to make Open Innovation Labs more effective performers by facilitating the sharing of their experience on best practices.

We gather evidence on best practices from more than 600 global open innovation labs through a survey and in-depth interviews.

There are seven main sections in the survey:

1. General characteristics of the Lab
2. Business and funding models
3. Collaborations
4. People management
5. Performance management
6. Intellectual property management
7. Space design

Open Innovation Labs that complete the survey will receive a free copy of the final report.

Results will be reported as aggregated statistics, with no individual or institutional information being disclosed, published or passed on to any third parties. Your response will be processed using the highest level of confidentiality and data safety.
