The cost to send an Open athlete to the Maccabiah Games is $16,500. This cost includes flights, accommodations, competition, and any other expenses related to the two weeks of the Games.

Thanks to the generosity of Maccabi Canada’s donors led by the Scheinberg family, Maccabi Canada is able to subsidize the cost of games participation for the Open delegation.

Maccabi Canada continues with its ongoing fundraising efforts in order to provide additional financial assistance for those in need. We are now accepting applications for financial aid for the 2025 Maccabiah Games.

Maccabi Canada does not guarantee funding for applicants. We urge you to make any effort to fundraise on your own in addition to submitting the financial assistance application.

In order to qualify for Maccabi Canada’s financial assistance, an athlete’s needs to make on its own payment of $2,000 by October 31, 2025.

Process and Timeline:
Deadline for submitting your application is November 30, 2025
Maccabi Canada will review all applications by December 31, 2025
Applicants will be notified on the outcome of their application and level of support in the new year.
Financial assistance will be allocated to successful applicants after balance of their participation costs is paid.
