Ojai Valley Wildfire Risk Mitigation Road Map - Public Feedback
1. Welcome to our Public Outreach Survey
The Ojai Valley Fire Safe Council is developing a Community-Focused, Community-Driven Wildfire Risk Mitigation Road Map that aims to increase individual and community-level capacities and resiliency to prevent/mitigate, prepare, respond and recovery from future wildfire threats. The Road Map will be specific to the communities and lands within the Ojai Valley and will build upon the 2010 Community Wildfire Protection Plan (CWPP) and the 2018 Ventura County Fire Department Unit Strategic plan.
The purpose of this survey is to understand the experiences, perceptions, needs and concerns of Ojai Valley residents to past and future wildland fire threats. Information from this survey will assist the Fire Safe Council and other key Stakeholders in developing community-based programs, action plans, educational programs, services and policies that are locally relevant, inclusive and sustainable.
The survey will take approximately 25 minutes to complete. Only one survey response is requested per household. Please read the following questions and respond appropriately. Participation in this survey is voluntary. Participants will not be identified. All responses will be kept confidential and therefore not negatively affect any future services/needs. Results will be included in the final Road Map.
Your participation is important and critical to developing a plan that works for the 'whole' community. Thank you for helping make a more resilient Ojai Valley!
