Coram PACEY and the Early Years Alliance are asking for views on the Ofsted registration process for childminders and/or assistants, including how long registration takes and where there may be delays or challenges along the way. We want to build a clearer picture of how the process is working in practice and understand where improvements may be needed and the impact of any registration delays on childminders, their businesses and staff and the families they support.
Please take this survey if you have registered as a childminder with Ofsted, or registered an assistant since January 2026. Please note, if you have registered multiple assistants during this period, you can complete the survey once for each assistant.
