Thank you for registering to have your Ofrenda at our Branigan Cultural Center

Our ofrendas* are available for schools, organizations, or members of the community to make their own ofrendas for Día de los Muertos. Each ofrenda space is a single rectangular table. If a larger space is desired (for example for a school or organization) you may register for up to two spaces in total.

  • Registration will close Monday, October 26, or earlier if registration is full before that date.
  • Set up will take place Tuesday, October 27 to Friday, November 6, between 10am and 4pm.
  • FINAL cut-off time for ofrenda set up is 4pm on Friday, November 6, at 4pm!

Then join us for the festivities for Día de los Muertos in the evening hours of Friday, November 6, from 4:30pm to 7pm, to see the ofrendas all aglow. Join us in this FREE celebration of the lives of those who have passed. See the community ofrendas, enjoy food and beverages, hands-on activities, and live entertainment.

It is suggested that schools register for two spaces, though not required. It is also suggested for all that you bring a way to attach your pieces to the table/tablecloth in case of wind.

NOTE:
Ofrendas will be on display and kept within a locked gated area by the Branigan Cultural Center between October 27 and November 7.
Ofrendas will be taken down on Saturday, November 7, by 4pm with anything left after that time being disposed of.

*An ofrenda (Spanish: "offering") is the offering placed in a home altar during the annual and traditionally Mexican Día de los Muertos celebration.
