Pilot Off-leash Dog Area Survey

Survey Introduction

Thank you for your interest in the topic of an off-leash dog area in Orinda.

The Parks and Recreation Commission recommended Orinda Oaks Park as the most feasible location for an off-leash park and the City Council discussed the topic during multiple council meetings in 2024. Due in part to high construction costs, the City Council recommended the creation of a pilot program to allow off-leash dog use in Orinda Oaks Park and Open Space late last year.

Collecting community feedback throughout this pilot program is necessary to effectively evaluate the program's success and measure the community's interest in a permanent off leash facility.
