Join us and give your brain a break! Meditation has been shown to lower blood pressure, improve sleep and decrease stress and anxiety by engaging your parasympathetic nervous system (responsible for "rest and digest" processes). The best thing is you don't need to go anywhere or use special tools - just you is all you need!
For these sessions, you do not need to turn on your camera to participate, and can even call in via your phone using the the log-in information which will be sent to you (please do not forget to provide your email so that you can receive a formal invitation). Note: you do not need to have Webex account to participate and must be able to give your full attention to the meditation (i.e., no listening while driving!).
The session will be recorded and posted on GGH's e-Learning page under "Additional Courses" and "Health and Wellness" if you are unable to attend the times listed. By joining any of the meditation sessions in October, or watching the e-Learning recording you will be placed in a draw at the end of the month to win a weighted blanket from Sleep Country!
