The City of Oceanside receives Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and HOME Investment Partnerships (HOME) funds from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to help low income residents and other federal funds (e.g American Rescue Plan Act) to help the community.

CDBG funds can be used for things like housing, park, recreation and community facilities, special needs for seniors, the disabled and homeless,  social services, and preparing for natural disaster emergencies.

HOME funds are used to make housing affordable for renters, help first-time homebuyers or to help fix up homes.

Deciding how we use this money to improve or add programs and resources is the feedback we receive from you.
