Older Workers Employment Action Plan Feedback

The Older Workers Employment Action Plan (OWEAP) is one of seven that sits underneath the Government's 2019 Employment Strategy. It's also a response to the Governments Better Later Life – He Oranga Kaumātua Strategy 2019 to 2034 which has a vision that Older New Zealanders lead valued, connected and fulfilling lives.
The overall goal of the OWEAP is to:
Ensure that all older workers, both those aged 50 – 64 and those 65 and over, are able to access work that meets their needs so that:
they are valued and thrive in the workplace, and can transition away from paid employment when they are ready; and
they can contribute fully to the economy.
Make sure to read the OWEAP consultation document before giving feedback. It might be helpful to print it out or have it open on another screen as you work through this.
