The Housing Challenge

Housing is an issue that impacts our community, economy and quality of life.  The availability and affordability of housing affects nearly everyone who lives in the Our Valley region, regardless of their background, employment, age or income.

The Our Valley Housing Survey

The Our Valley Housing Survey was developed by Our Valley, Our Future with input from people involved in all aspects of housing.  Housing is an important focus of the Our Valley, Our Future Action Plan.  (For more information on Our Valley, Our Future visit:  www.ourvalleyourfuture.org.)

Who Can Take this Survey

This survey is open to anyone who lives, works, or owns a residence in Our Valley, defined as Chelan and Douglas counties.  You also must be 18 years or older to take the survey.

How to Take this Survey

Completing the Our Valley Housing Survey should take about 20 minutes depending on how much time you spend with each question. You will only be able to take the survey once, so please make sure you have set aside enough time to complete the entire survey once you begin.  You may take as much time as you wish to complete it.

People who complete the entire survey and provide us with their name, email and/or phone number will be eligible for a drawing for a $100 McGlinn's Public House gift card .

How Survey Results will be Used

All responses to this survey will be compiled and summarized in a final report to be shared with community leaders and available at the Our Valley, Our Future website.  Survey results will also be shared at the Our Valley Housing Forum planned for this fall.

Your survey answers and any personal information you provide will remain completely anonymous and will not be shared with anyone else.  You may receive an email invitation to participate in this fall's Housing Forum.  You will also be notified by email or phone if you have won the gift card.
