On January 7, 2025, the Premier of Ontario announced the start of Operation Deterrence, the province’s preparedness and planning framework for enhanced security at international borders and tackling criminal activity that is harming people on both sides of the border.
Coming up on the operations 2-month anniversary, OTA would like to hear from its carrier members as to their experiences with the increase of enforcement in and around border points in Ontario with the United States.
