Consultation Service - Overview
Thank you for your interest in pursuing an online (telemedicine) consultation with Colorado State University's Orthopedic Medicine and Mobility Service.
While a telemedicine consult cannot replace a physical examination, it can be very helpful and allow us to gather important information, provide immediate guidance and determine the next best steps for you and your pet.
The fee for this service is $100. You will be billed after your consult is completed.
Reviewing videos of your pet’s movement and any previous imaging (X-rays, CT, MRI) your pet had will help us prepare for your consult and provide you with the most relevant and helpful information. You’ll be given directions on taking video of your pet and be able to upload these files later in the survey. We’ll also ask for your regular veterinarian's name so we can request records.
After filling out this survey, you will be provided a link through which you can schedule your telemedicine appointment (if you haven't already done so), and your question(s) will be directed to a team member of the service for review.
If your pet has symptoms of immediate concern, please seek local emergency treatment or contact CSU’s urgent and emergency care services at 970-297-5000.
