Participant Application

Thank you for visiting the Ordinary Marathoner Foundation, Inc.'s Actually Autistic Athlete program application page. The next several pages will ask a series of questions needed to help us learn about you and your interest in participating in this running program.

The Running for Autism program is designed to introduce an autistic person to running endurance sports by actively engaging that person in all the necessary preparation for a given distance between 5k and full marathon. The program currently open to autistic people at least 14 years old, culminating in participating in a local event of your choosing. The program is intended to teach the participant:

·  Aspects of physical fitness and race day nutrition
·  Insights into running endurance sports, such as distances, locating and registering, and proper clothing/footwear
·  Training for a desired distance

This should take less than 10 minutes to complete. Please feel free to share only what you feel comfortable sharing. Please know that only program staff will see any of the information and no information will be provided to anyone not associated with this program without your permission.

Thank you and I look forward to reading your information!

Sincerely,
