OCON 2020 Scholarship Application |
Scholarship Information
All students seeking scholarship support for OCON 2020 must complete this application. Awards will be awarded based on merit and travel expenses. Scholarship funds are limited and not all travel expenses may be covered.
Applications will be evaluated on a rolling basis until funds are exhausted. If you are not awarded a scholarship and cannot attend the conference, ARI will refund your registration fee. The deadline to apply for a scholarship is May 1, 2020.
Scholarship conditions will apply and will be explained in a scholarship agreement that is sent to an applicant upon being awarded a scholarship.
Application Steps:
1. Before filling out the application, you must first register as a Student at the AynRandCon website and take note of your Confirmation Number. You will need your registration confirmation number in order to apply for a scholarship.
2. Fill out this application form in its entirety. Allow at least 30 minutes to complete the form, which must be completed in one sitting and includes long questions near the end.
As it is not possible to save a partially completed form, we recommend you review this PDF of the application and prepare your answers before beginning the electronic application. Only electronic submissions will be considered.
3. Allow up to four weeks for us to contact you about your application. We may request a video or phone interview with you as part of the application review process.
Eligibility and Restrictions:
1. Applicants must be a student in a degree or apprentice program, a recent graduate of such a program (within 6 months of graduation), or an Objectivist Academic Center student.
2. To receive a full scholarship, attendees must attend the full conference. If you are not attending the full conference, please note the days you plan to attend. ARI must be notified of any changes to the recipient's availability or travel schedule and may adjust the amount of the scholarship accordingly.
