You are invited to participate in a study that involves research. The purpose of this study is to collect and aggregate information drawn from social entrepreneurs to provide information about their corporate composition, reasons for being current venture type, corporate features leveraged, current resource base, barriers to achieving mission and mandate, what’s working/what’s not.
As a participant, you are being asked to complete an online survey. The survey will take approximately 15 minutes of your time.
POTENTIAL BENEFITS AND RISKS
Possible benefits of participation include that the findings from this survey will be included in the considerations for the legislation and registration requirements of a for-benefit corporate model in Canada.
The information you provide is confidential. The survey is completed online, and no personal information is requested.
Participation in this study is voluntary. If you wish, you may decline to answer any questions or participate in any component of the survey. Data collected will be presented in aggregate forms.
PUBLICATION OF RESULTS
Results of this study may be published in reports, professional and scholarly journals, websites, and presentations to conferences and colloquia. In any publication, data will be presented in aggregate forms.
Feedback about this study will be available from the researcher via email, and the final report will be published on the project website (www.cherylmayproject.space) by September 30, 2017.
