Patient Experiences With Obesity Treatment: Saxenda
Obesity Canada is a national health charity with the mission to improve the lives of individuals living with obesity through research, education and advocacy. The Report Card on Access to Obesity Treatment explains that in Canada, access to effective and evidence- based treatments is very limited. With this survey we would like to better understand your experiences with various treatments and specifically with Saxenda (Liraglutide), a prescription medication. This information will help Obesity Canada direct our advocacy efforts, inform policy makers and help inform a patient submission to the Canadian Association for Drugs and Technologies in Health (CADTH), the organization in Canada that reviews medications and recommends if they should be covered under provincial, territorial or federal drug plans. All responses will be confidential and only aggregate data will be shared.
