This webinar will provide an overview of eligibility, the admission process and supports available through Georgia’s two Medicaid Waiver Programs for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The workshop will provide information on new federal rules governing Medicaid-funded home and community-based service (HCBS) programs, provide a brief overview of Georgia’s Transition Plan which will ensure compliance with the rules, and explore any impact on services available through the waiver programs. We’ll also discuss the upcoming renewal of the COMP Waiver Program and opportunities for public input on needed services and supports.
