Northfield Shares is the Northfield area's community foundation. We were formed through the merger of the Northfield Area Foundation and Fifth Bridge. Northfield Shares seeks to sustain and transform the Northfield Community by advancing philanthropy, inspiring volunteerism and promoting collaborative leadership.
As we grow and continue to find new ways to better serve the individuals and organizations in our community, we are exploring more deeply an idea many of you have raised to us in the past.
We are looking at developing or adapting a web-based volunteer matching and management tool specific to Northfield. Before we do this, we want to truly understand the value individuals and organizations would find in this, and what attributes would be most important to making it a helpful tool.
